On November 19, 2024, the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department celebrated the dedication and exceptional achievements of its law enforcement officers at the 2024 Massachusetts Sheriffs’ Association Awards, held in the historic Great Hall of the Massachusetts State House.
Among the award recipients, Superintendent Sweeney was recognized with the prestigious Jail Administrator of the Year Award, and Sergeant Amie Lee, who was named Deputy Sheriff of the Year.
The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department celebrates with these two exceptional individuals for their triumphs in their commitment to protecting and serving in public safety across Massachusetts.
