The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department joined in the festivities for the Back to School BBQ and Backpack Supply event at Dorchester Park yesterday. Organized by M.A.M.L.E.O. (the Massachusetts Association of Minority Law Enforcement Officers), in partnership with Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy and the Corey C. Griffin Foundation, backpacks packed full of school supplies were distributed to children and families attending the event to help prepare them for the start of the school year. #BackToSchool
