During the first half of the show, host Sheriff Steve Tompkins speaks with Tito Jackson, Boston City Councilor from District 7. Councilor Jackson came on to introduce some of the initiatives that he is working on in City Hall for the residents of Boston. He spoke about a special commission to study the issues confronting Black men and boys by focusing on improving the conditions affecting their cultural, social, economic, political, judicial and general health. Councilor Jackson is also in the process of creating an Office of Re-entry in the City of Boston that will help individuals re-entering society from their time in prison.
