During the second half of the show, host Sheriff Tompkins interviews Executive Director Dr. Valerie Batts from VISIONS, Inc. and Lyn Levy, founder of Span, Inc. Valerie Batts through Visions, Inc. delivers specialized consulting services on diversity and inclusion to businesses and corporations and Lyn Levy with Span, Inc. assists previously incarcerated citizens by addressing the root causes of what led them to be imprisoned. The two discuss with the Sheriff their hope to bridge the gap for assisting returning citizens as well as their families and the ones they have potentially harmed. The conversation amongst the three concludes with the collaboration between the organizations mentioned as well as the University of Massachusetts Boston and the Louis D. Brown Institute for the Partnering for Peace Event.
