On the second half of the show, host Sheriff Tompkins speaks with the President of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) – Boston Branch, Michael Curry. The Sheriff and Curry discuss the NAACP, some of their partnerships and all that they do for citizens in Boston. During this segment, they also discuss several of the National Executive Boards that Mr. Curry is a part of that help progress the work of the NAACP. The two also speak about the NAACP’s mission to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.
