During the second half of the show, host Sheriff Steve Tompkins speaks with Stephen Crosby, Chairman of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. Chairman Crosby talked about the role of the Gaming Commission and what is currently happening in Massachusetts around the Massachusetts Gaming Act, which was signed by Governor Deval Patrick in November 2011. The Gaming Commission reviews applications from any group or organization interested in obtaining one of four expanded gaming licenses, three for casinos and one for a slots parlor. Once the licenses are awarded, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission will then regulate the gaming industry within the Commonwealth.
