Members of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) traveled to the Department’s Correction Officer Training Academy (COTA) in Chelsea to receive training in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), tending to a choking victim, and fire safety. Instructed by COTA staff, SEP interns performed the practical portion of their lesson using adult and infant training mannequins and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) simulators. #WeAreSCSD
