The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department recently joined Tufts University’s Department of Public Safety for their G.I.R.L.S. (Grit, Intelligence, Resilience, Leadership, Strength) Day at the Gantcher Family Field House and Convocation Center.

Hosted by Tufts University Police, this powerful event gave girls ages 5-14 the opportunity to learn about first responder roles while enjoying a day filled with fun and hands-on activities. Our staff members had a great time connecting with participants, sharing information about our Department, and handing out our kids’ coloring books, crayons, deputy badges, bags, pencils, and more!
