A Noble Conference

During Black History Month the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) Massachusetts Chapter held its First Annual Awards Ceremony to celebrate those who have made a lasting impact in the field. Among the distinguished honorees was Sheriff Steven W. Tompkins, who received the prestigious “Living Legend” Award in recognition of his decades of service, leadership, and dedication to justice and public safety.

Held on February 1, 2025, at Mixx 360 in Saugus, MA, the event brought together members of NOBLE, officers, and leadership staff to honor individuals who have shaped the future of criminal justice for a community jubilee and dinner. Sheriff Tompkins, a former President of NOBLE New England and past executive board member and original founder of the Massachusetts Chapter, was acknowledged for his enduring influence in law enforcement and corrections.
