Members of Blue Hills Regional Technical School visited the Suffolk County House of Correction for a tour of the facility. The group visited the Medical Unit, the kitchen, the Vocational Education Division and the Common Ground Institute, the Education Division, the Property area, and later sat for a candid conversation with two incarcerated women inside Women’s Program Services. Sheriff Steven W. Tompkins and Department staff want to thank the members of Blue Hills Regional Tech for their interest in learning more about corrections and the programming offered by the Department.
