The Real Talk in the Commonwealth podcast was introduced in 2020 to help disseminate the Department’s message of public safety and crime prevention, and to continue with its strong commitment to provide taxpayers with operational transparency. Sheriff Steven Tompkins hosts the program, bringing a vast array of elected officials, local organizations, neighborhood civic groups and community service agencies to the table and into the homes of Suffolk County residents.
