Chief Terence Delehanty – Winthrop Police Department



During the first half of the show, host Sheriff Steve Tompkins talks with Winthrop Chief of Police Terence Delehanty. Chief Delehanty came onto the show to discuss some of the different kinds of issues facing the Town of Winthrop, and some of the programs & outreach initiatives being offered in Winthrop through the police department to better assist its citizens. The Town of Winthrop was settled in 1630 and named for John Winthrop; a Governor of Massachusetts. Winthrop is a peninsula covering 1.6 square miles that sits to the north of Boston and boasts some of the most spectacular views on the East Coast.
