This past Sunday, members of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department took part in the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England‘s 54th Annual August Moon Festival in Chinatown, Boston. Also known as the Harvest Festival, it is a time of giving thanks for the harvest and good crops, in addition to the celebration of joy and good health, since the arrival of autumn is thought to be a propitious season and the weather is usually conducive to good health and enjoyment. #WeAreSCSD #AugustMoonFestival
