For Correctional Officer and Employee Appreciation Week, members of the Department were treated to a cookout behind the Suffolk County Jail. In addition to a variety of tasty grilled options – cooked and plated by several members of the Department’s custody and non-custody management team – attendees could sit and eat at outdoor tables under a warm spring sun, or challenge each other to friendly games of Cornhole and Wiffle Ball.
