Braintree Elks #2232 Riders Association’s “Ride for a Cause”

Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department’s Motorcycle Unit and staff members took part in a ride that brought together members of the community, public safety agencies, and volunteers.
The SCSD joined the Weymouth – Braintree Elks #2232 Riders Association’s “Ride for a Cause” event in support of Ellie Fund, an organization that provides essential support to individuals and families navigating breast cancer treatment. Riders and passengers covered approximately 40.8 miles after gathering at Weymouth Braintree Elks Lodge 2232, 788 Liberty St, Braintree,
MA, for food, raffles, and live entertainment.
We are proud to have been able to ride alongside our fellow public safety members including the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office, Hingham, Abington, Cohasset and Holbrook Police Departments, and the local communities. We want to give a special “thank you” to the Weymouth – Braintree Elks #2232 and Ellie Fund for allowing us to be part of this meaningful event and for continuing to bring people together in support of others.
