Suffolk County Sheriff Steven W. Tompkins joined the Family Nurturing Center this past Saturday for their 8th Annual “Fathers and Family Fun Day” at Harambee Park in Dorchester’s Franklin Field. Along with games, performances by storytellers, music, free health screenings and more, the day featured discussions about responsible parenting, fathers as nurturers, and men taking a stand against domestic violence by taking the White Ribbon Campaign of Massachusetts Pledge.
