Members of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department turned out for the Massachusetts First Jurisdiction Metropolitan District Black Achievement Awards Breakfast to hear keynote speaker Sheriff Steven W. Tompkins and support the event’s emcee and Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department’s own Lieutenant Sean Clark, Sr. Sheriff Tompkins also was among the attendees receiving awards, which also included Bishop Talbert Swan, Dr. Jean Maguire (who was unable to attend), Reverend Troy Smith, Reverend Reba Danastorg, Reverend Wilbur Smart, Bishop Dr. Arthur Jack, and SCSD instructor Gary Bracey.
