During the first half of the show, host Sheriff Steve Tompkins talks with Revere Mayor Daniel Rizzo about the possibility of Mohegan Sun bringing a casino to Revere. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is requiring voters of Revere to return to the polls in February to vote on the newly revised Revere casino project. As a host community, the City of Revere could receive millions of dollars upfront, as well as millions of dollars in annual payments for hosting a Mohegan Sun casino. With all this potential revenue coming into Revere, Sheriff Tompkins asked Mayor Rizzo how the city would utilize these new proceeds.
