On June 18th 2014, Sheriff Steven W. Tompkins and the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department hosted another installment of the Department’s ongoing “Directions for Corrections” community forum series. This free public forum moderated by Suffolk County Sheriff Steven W. Tompkins featured an informative discussion about reentry programming and services for ex-offenders. Panelists included: Reverend William E. Dickerson, Pastor of the Greater Love Tabernacle; Boston City Councilor Tito Jackson, District 7; Suzanne Kenny, Executive Director of Project Place; Charmaine Higgins, Executive Director of Strive; and Darnell Williams, President & CEO of the Urban League.
