We were honored to have Sgt. Detective Janine Busby and Officer Alexander Reyes of the School Engagement Unit come from @bostonpolice to share their wisdom on mentorship for students from all backgrounds.

Thank you as well to Jacquelyn Lamont from the  @suffolkdao Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, who spoke in depth about phone addiction and internet safety precaution tips for our Choice Officers to include in future presentations.

A special “thank you” also to Courtney Grey, Director of Disaster Behavioral Health in the Office of Public Health Preparedness for the Boston Public Health Commission. Courtney spoke about the ramifications and repercussions of violence, and shared with the group his valuable insights about trauma, both physical and emotional.
